Senior Solutions Engineer (Presales)

The Senior Solutions Engineer will own technical solutioning, sizing, and scoping for complex, enterprise BFSI opportunities across Egypt and the wider MENA region. Working closely with the Sales and delivery teams, this role translates client requirements into credible technical solutions and effort estimates, and will take on an extended role as Finaira expands into the UAE and Saudi Arabia. 
The difference you will make 
- Lead technical solutioning and scoping for complex, enterprise BFSI opportunities. 
- Translate client requirements into technical architecture, sizing, and a proposed delivery approach. 
- Develop effort estimates and sizing models in partnership with delivery teams. 
- Support proof of concept and demo development for priority opportunities. 
- Partner with Sales to shape win themes and technical differentiation. 
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to validate feasibility and pricing assumptions. 
- Present technical solutions to client stakeholders during pitches and technical deep dives. 
- Maintain a library of reusable technical assets, architecture patterns, and estimation models. 
- Track BFSI regulatory and technology trends relevant to solution design across Egypt and the GCC. 

What you will bring to the role 
Education: 
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
Experience: 
- 5+ years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting, ideally within BFSI or enterprise technology. 
- Experience with BFSI clients in Egypt and/or the GCC strongly preferred. Previous experience in AI engagements is a plus. 
Technical Skills: 
- Strong technical background across AI/ML, cloud, and data platforms. 
- Proven experience in solution sizing, scoping, and effort estimation for complex enterprise deals. o Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAMA, UAE Central Bank) is a plus, given expansion into the GCC.
